This realistic, exuberant film celebrates the underground art scene of Alexandria and the aspirations of its youth, all desperate for change in their lives. It centres on Khalid, a young man who on returning to the city after working in the US, finds his old friends have moved on. As he roams the city’s streets, he stumbles on the hip hop culture, the rock musicians and graffiti artists who emerge at night or perform impromptu gigs. A must see film that proved very prophetic of the changes taking place in Egypt only six months after the film production was shot.
