Sensoria is pleased to have joined forces with Thornbridge Brewery for the fourth year. The partnership will include a new customised Sensoria beer for the festival and a new competition to design a Sensoria beer mat. The winner’s design will be announced in February and will be distributed around pubs during Spring.
The partners are now looking for graphic designers, design students or members of the public to get involved and come up with ideas for a new look beer mat. The design should be music and/or film related and can include between one and four mats as long as they form a series. They can be single or double sided (a series of four should have the same design on the back for all of the series).
Submissions should include 3 mocks ups of the beer mats and up to 2 A4 sides of supporting information such as additional sketches or graphics and written notes. Please email ruth@sensoria.org.uk for a submissions form.
The submissions deadline is 10am on 17th February and the winner will be notified on the 21st February. Judges include Ian Anderson from The Designers Republic, Pamela Bowman, Principal Lecturer Portfolio Director, Art & Design from Sheffield Hallam University, Alex Buchanan from Thornbridge Brewery and Jo Wingate Director of Sensoria.
The winning prize includes
- 1 free pass to Sensoria
- 1 case of Thornbridge beer
- The winner’s design printed and distributed to a number of pubs in Sheffield throughout Spring.
All entries will be unveiled in a special exhibition in a city centre shop unit from 22nd April.
