Sensoria is pleased to welcome Bill Drummond to Sheffield as the festival’s first ever composer in residence.  Drummond – himself  brought up among steel mills in Corby – will be based at Sheffield Forgemasters, a global force in steel production and engineering.  The residency is part of Drummond’s choir The17’s Coast-to-Coast world tour.  He will compose a new score each day and will also be giving a lecture and leading a performance by The17 of one or more of the scores as part of the festival programme.
